Applewood's Keeping the Promise event brings together our supporters and community partners to share our mission of improving the lives of Ohio’s most at-risk children.
This year we are excited to welcome Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb as this year’s Keeping the Promise keynote speaker. Mayor Bibb’s commitment to ensuring the safety and mental well-being of children and families is just one of the many ways in which his administration is closely aligned with Applewood’s mission. We hope you'll join us for an inspiring discussion on how we are working together to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our community.
Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Dedicated to addressing a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment.
Applewood’s Holiday Lights Program is designed to bring holiday joy to the youth served by Applewood programs. The program provides gifts to hundreds of at-risk children and teens to whom Applewood Centers provides individual and family therapy, after school programming, residential treatment, and foster care services. Each year we call upon individuals, businesses, and local organizations to help make the holiday season brighter for our clients by donating to the program.
